After Endodontic Treatment

Endodontic treatment has now been completed. The root canal system has been permanently sealed. However, the outer surface is sealed with a temporary restoration, unless your dentist requests a permanent restoration.  In some cases, a follow-up restoration must be placed to protect your tooth against fracture and decay. Please telephone your restorative dentist for an appointment. A complete report of treatment will be sent to your restorative dentist.  Yearly follow-up radiographs can be taken at your general dentist’s office and can be sent to our office electronically.

Post operative instructions for discomfort after ROOT CANAL TREATMENT.  Follow only if you can safely take Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen.  DO NOT use Extra Strength Tylenol, use Regular Strength Tylenol
